TIP: Choosing a Videographer
When planning to get a videographer to cover your special day there are a few things that you should consider before making your final choice. Price should be your last question and quality your first. Any body can take video with a camera, so asking your nephew to do the job can lead to life long disappointment when looking back at that special day. A little planning and consideration can lead to great results.

Ask a lot of questions and take time to view the work of that person. When viewing the footage look for the following:
  1. Is the footage shaky?
  2. Do you like the transitions from one scene to the other?
  3. Does the audio level stay constant and distortion free?
  4. Is the panning smooth (left to right moving)?
  5. Does he use alternative light sources?
  6. Are there many in/out zoom shots? These create an unprofessional look.
  7. Are the titles computer generated and do they look professional?
Besides all the technical detail, did you like what you saw? Overall impressions can sometimes be the determining factor.
